I don't play the JD vs. IH banter game too often unless it's with people that I know well, but I have to bite on this one. As a John Deere guy, I own only 1 IH hat and it was second prize at the SE PA IHC Collectors show tractor pull. I don't wear it, but I display it with pride knowing that it means that I beat all but one red tractor it's own show. They really should seriously rethink their policy on allowing other brands in their pull! It's all in fun. I grew up on few red ones but have always loved the green ones. Our local tractor pulling club is full of the Allen/Indy type razzing. We all have a good time with it and thankfully it's never come to blows!
