I've got a '47 B and pulled w/ it Oct '75 in the 5000 stock class (50 lbs per axle allowed on weight) - your problem is NOT power but traction - I modified a set of original rims and welded a 2" extension strip and then put wider and taller 15.5" tires off a 2510 JD / after filling w/ H20 and weighing at grain elevator had to remove water to be under the max wt of 5200 lbs / still had slippage problems NOT power w/ front wheels "off" the ground and (+/-) 5180# making 100% useful contact - tires only had about 30-40 % tread left and didn't pursue new tires after this pull / wiring the govenor won't help as you're already below the 1200 rpm overspeed range / small county "pulls" died out circa 1980 here in central Texas and I didn't pursue pulling any more after this / I'm born-bred JD "B"'s as family once owned 7 and I can still remember cotton stalks being plowed out before 1 Oct('59-'60) deadline for boll weevil program and all 7 were plowing out cotton stalks in the same field at the same time / a perfect "Kodak" moment but no pics / stay in touch and GOOD LUCK ! / Ray

There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
