That's a good plan - and may be where I'm headed. First I need a good middle of the road / do everything vehical. That's where this Z-71 fits in - 4wd (no more running starts to get though those soft spots), seats 5 (I can help pick up the kids safley), better on gas than my 2wd (not much, but every little bit helps), and it's in my price range (cheap). The truck I'm driving now is in about the same or worse condition. Right now I can't aford to operate two vehicals. I will in a couple years. Then - I may go VW hunting for the commute - and C65 hunting for the hauling. I guess my real question is - should I stay away from a chevy with 240,000 miles? Mitch
