I'd like to sell you my 4020 gas and replace it with something having a real cab (my 4020 has only ROPS), like a 4230 or 4430 with sound guard cab. I've been plowing for years, don't have an erosion problem but the cost of fuel is making me rethink that. Last week I took tile probe and could hardly detect any hard pan from my plowing. Iowa winter frosts have made the ground mellow. The 4430 would pull a chisel better than the 4020, but I can't detect a need for chiseling in this ground. I disked bean straw last fall, and if it dries up some of these days, I'll hit it a quick lick with a field cultivator to mix in fertilizer and go plant. I wish for a good cab because of herbicides and fungicides that are more and more necessary and I'm less interested in living with some of them out in the open for spraying them and planting afterwards. The lack of a cab limits my selection unless I want to wear a space suit for applying them and for planting. Gerald J.

The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
