More Trouble

Had the old JD 5020 going again today trying to finish the 20 acre discing job. This should have been done in a few hours, but there is a lot of turning and very steep areas. I was going real good and I hit a wet spot, and down we went. I had instant flash backs to some of the pictures I have seen on stuck and troubled. Part of the problem was the disc hyd hose became disconnected, and I could not raise the disc in time. Hooked hose up again and raised the disc, and just barley made it out. With all that My question is: do the tractor break away connections become weak, causing hoses to pull out very easy? By the way thanks Allan for the tip on how to relieve pressure on the hoses, a little messy , but it works. Stan in calif.
