(Playin follow the leader this am Sid, Grin) I know of several tires marked with the tire size and additionally on the sidewall is the rim width that allows the tire to qualify for the stated size. Most times it is 1-2 " narrower. Worst case narrow wheels could make for some side to side motion,like would be experienced on radial tires, or may attempt to round the tread rather than the lugs being flat to the ground, but shouldn't be a problem on what you said. May have to play with air pressure to get the right combination of stability and flat ground contact. Heck try it. You can always take them off if you don't like it. Mark
