Questions about a Deutz 4006

I have a friend at work who's father is selling his Deutz 4006 diesel tractor. It is a early 70's model with 2500 hrs and has a Kelly loader on it. From a picture he has it appears to be relatively clean and well take care of. I am looking for tractor about this size with a loader. I don't know a lot about tractors and know even less about Deutz tractors. I was wanting to hear any personal experiences with them and any recommendations or suggestions. He is asking $5000, is this a good price?
