We use one of the 'Have a Heart' traps baited with salmon. Catches cats to coons about 10 to 1 but thats ok, the cats get over it (I am a huge cat lover, my black cat is the least bright of the bunch though, I cat him most of the time). Did net 17 coons and 3 possums last year, plus 6 ground hogs baited with sweet corn. Disposal of the captured coons and other vermin are at the discretion of you and your local laws.
