Well I found the dragons and slew them. First, I fixed a poor ground from frame to engine and got the cranking speed up the spark got blue and hotter, even while pulling the hydrostatic pump. B/S book states that the cranking speed needs to be 350 rpms or better with the magnetron solid state ignition. Three of the four valve adjustments were closed up, and maybe even holding open them open a little. Adjusted them to .006. The spark plug in the RH cylinder had the side electrode gone. Cylinder still has 90# compression to LH cylinder's 110#, but they want to keep running it.Adjusted valves, gapped and installed new plugs, and it fire right up. Thanks for everybody's help on this one! Gene Davis
