Hey, doodel. I realize that what she did was not only unpatriotic, it was downright treasonous: Our men in uniform -- who had already been subjected to conditions and treatment that she had never experienced in her privileged life -- were directly and negatively affected by her irresponsible actions. For many years I waited for her to apologize for what she had done, and I fumed over her refusal to do so. But it's been over 30 years since that happened. Sometimes ya got to let things go. Like my grampaw used to say, "The only way ye kin keep somebody down is ta stay down there with 'em." The way I figure it, sooner or later she'll have some serious explainin' to do to the Old Feller Upstairs. And if she makes it past Him (will she?), there are quite a few former residents of the Hanoi Hilton who will have some choice words for her. I haven't forgiven, I haven't forgotten. I just don't see her on my radar screen any more, and that suits me just fine. I got bigger fish to fry.

I’m par
