Howdy folks, Well, it seems that my usual image upload site (taler's) is lost or something and I spent close to 3 hours last night trying to find another one that would work and ended up giving up. So, I posted the pics I wanted to show you over in the tractor photos section. The first is labeled "1947 John Deere M all finished up" the second is "Play nice boys" and the third is "JD R teardown". The first two are of the JD M that I have been mentioning recently (just finished restoring it for a friend) and the third is the progress from yesterday on tearing down the JD R to replace the rings. I took a peek yesterday inside the crankcase and whew! If you have never seen the crankshaft on a JD R, man what a monster. Well, hope you enjoy the pics. Let me know if I have a future in the restoring business with that M :) God bless. --old fashioned farmer
