Rauville, My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. As our generation buries our parents, we will indeed see a passing of a generation of which the world will never see again. That generation endured the great depression (without the welfare system we think we need today), WWII which our own generation and those subsequent would never have the stomach for, and lived to see our generation become the most dysfunctional, and responsible for excesses never dreamed possible 60 years ago. While we enjoyed the spoiling we got along with the values speeches we ignored, our parents were more in tune with reality than we could have ever imagined. We will truly miss them when they are gone.
