I didn't see the show you're talking about, but here's a few thoughts.... 1. The show could well be a few years old. RFD-TV does that.... A few years back, most of the die-cast toys were made here. 2. There's "Ertl/Racing Champions" (Formerly just Ertl) Then there's Joe Ertl's "Spec-Cast". Both are spin-offs of what was once the one and only Ertl Manufacturing. (LONG story...) Both are located in Dyersville, Iowa. Story COULD have been about either one. (Spec_Cast did the limited run "Max Armstrong IH M & H tractor set) If those Precisions were made here in this day and age, you'd pay as much for them as a REAL tractor........ (sad but true)
