1950 Farmall H has a slight miss when running, at idle or full throttle. When its been running for about 10 min, you can pull the throttle and sometimes will take off, sometimes will sputter some, then catch up. Points, plugs, wires, dist. cap all new. What does any one think of plug types.. I have Champions now, and does anyone use different gap settings for the points than what the owners manual says? Is it possibly simple as dist. timing adjustment? And is this adjustment possible by loosing the dist and manually rotating it? I know on older cars you can do this and hear when its running better, and then hit a good meduim between starting and running.
