I have a 14 foot JD disk I pull with a 4020 in 5th gear in clay ground. That's enough of a load and my 4020 is over 120hp. I hooked to it with my 730 , 2nd gear only and I had to lift it some to go up the hills. If it was me, I would rather get a heavy 10 foot disk and go a little faster. It will probably pull a 12 but not too deep or fast.
