I'm sorry that I can't help with your problem, but you reminded me of something. The first tractor I ever drove was a 2010 with the same symptom as yours. Being new to machinery then, I didn't know that it was broken or how to shift or anything else for that matter. The owner of the machine put me up there to help pull out his 2940 that was stuck. He showed me low gear, the throttle, clutch, and brakes. I eased it up until the chain got tight then I poured it on. After the 2940 was free, he unhooked the chain and took off for the barn to see some visitors. About twenty minutes (and 200 yards)later I roll in, still in granny gear because I didn't understand the shift pattern. I hope they all thought I was just being careful! Thanks for the memories.
