I went to a sale today, 6 miles south of Beatrice, Nebraska. The owner had a LOT of John Deere "A"s and "B"s, most of them had been stripped of various parts and were in various stages of completness. Quite a few other farm implements, 2 & 3 bottom plows, pull and mounted. Mowers, listers, cultivators, horse-drawn and tractor powered. I did write down the prices on the good, running tractors that sold. Farmall Super-MTA, Behlen power-steering, Completely restored, perfect paint job and brand new tires!! One sweet-looking, and running, tractor!!:-) $3450 McCormick-Deering WK-40 on steel, stuck, no paint, good tin. $2200 Farmall M 1941. Rough, stuck $325 JD BO Lineman crawler. Completely restored, purrs like a kitten! $8500 JD 720 diesel, power-steering, runs good. $2000 JD R diesel, restored, pony motor needs tune-up, so it could not be started, runs good otherwise. $2400 Allis Chalmers G, restored $2850 JD 2010 LP. runs good. $2400 Allis Chalmers WD, in good shape and runs good too. $500
