I haven't been to California in years, but they used to be real
touchy about taking plants into or out of the state. They used to
have inspection stations where they wanted to look into the back
of covered vehicles to see if you were transporting any plants.
They had signs up on their ag inspection stops. I never stopped
at any because I never transported plants, but I used to see
them.
