I had a similar thing but it was actually not registered commercial.Every once in a while a road check would get me and Id say" its a camper cmon officer Ill show you the back its got carpeting".Then they would say ok get lost.However one day a friend took a similar set-up non commercial plates into the port and got seven thousand dollars[he said]in fines from the Port Authority police.Try to look like a camper.I dont think my insurance company ever understood what type of truck it was either.Some times guys would look and say" that thing has passenger car plates,what gives"I notice people who tow race cars have a small NOT FOR HIRE sign but I dont know what requires that myself.
