The heavy duty front axle was standard on the International 140 and optional on the Farmall 140. Red was the standard color on both of these tractors but they could be ordered in any colors. Lots of state highway departments, etc had all of their tractors orange or yellow which may be the case with your tractor. Are you sure this tractor is a Farmall and not a International? The serial number prefix will tell. Also International will have a foot accelerator. Harold H
