Just a little correction is in order. In Quebec the woman keeps her name. She may opt to use her husbands name or the two names for all purposes other than government correspondance. Most women, English or French, keep their own name and have done so for years. Makes pratical sense. Outside of Quebec people are concerned with this so called French Thing. Yes, there are differences and points to be discussed, along with a few desired changes to some provincial laws. Time will see. This is not the place for a political discussion, (though I will debate all comers). QR
