My limited experience with X1XX series tractors is that they are of non-USA origin and do have some subtle differences. In discussing them with the parts counter man there are some parts he can't get. With that said, I don't know what a 4120 looks like as compared to a 4020. Having never split one I can't comment on that. I just know that there are subtle differences. Can't imagine your having to drain fluids to split the tractor. There will be some drainage from the hydraulic lines going to the front cooler (guess you have one). Input seal on the tranny should keep that fluid in place and not require draining, as with the engine's rear main. On removing the cab, if you have an access plate under the pedals, you should have access to anything (topside) you may need that doesn't bolt up from the front. The rest are below the cab and it's irrelevant. I'd say you're good to go. I'm assuming you will be machining the flywheel, maybe a new starter ring if needed, new pilot bearing, clutch and pressure plates new, and a new throwout bearing. While you're in there, if you want to do any seals, then fluid drain would be in order. Best of luck, Mark

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
