As the others said get you a Cobra 29 classic and spend your money on a good noise canceling mic and a good antenna.

Now if you want to go all out you could get a Galaxy with echo; talk back; reverb; all the bells and whistles. You could then sound like a big truck driver. (chicken hauler) Also do not for get the voice changer so you can make your voice sound like a girl. You can then drive every one at the truck stop wild with anticipation.
