I run accumulator that puts on edge,by doing this you usually also gain ttwo more bales in grapple and accumulator,yours doing eight right I can grapple eight flat and ten on edge. I just didn't care for the dragging bales all the time,especially in sanding ground. I also find that they seem to ride pretty good on edgee also since you have rouhg side against each other, don't have near as many slide offs. If its dry hay which way it is stored I can't tell any difference. i also never have to worry about gettin into the strings on edge
