Look at main harness wire where it connects to the battery side on the solenoid post. It is the connection for the electrical system. Starter will work without main harness working as the starter circuit is a seperate system, all it takes is to ground the solenoid, and the starter will spin. Check the main harness connection carefully, as it may "appear" good, but the internal wire may be broken.
