I have a ford n positive ground tractor. Got it out to start brush hogging and started it up after I checked all the fluids and got around the field 2 and it started sputtering. I could only keep it running if I left the choke open. A half a trip around and I couldn't keep it going anymore. I cleaned out the fuel bowl and filter the next day (today) and started it up and started up the hill again, (choke open) and got to top and again sputtering. I cut the pto and tried to keep it running but no go. Starts runs a few minutes, the governor backs off and then it dies. Any ideas on what the problem is? I am going to try to flush the carb next to see if there is something blocking the line.
