Does this tool do any damage to seals if you clean assembled parts? What do you cover areas where you won't want water and sand to enter? We used blasting rubber on stones and signs to reject the sand stream but motor parts are not flat to attach the rubber to. As far as having an area out back that is used for blasting that is like a sandbox, I wouldn't let kids play around there with the particulate mixed in especially if you are using silica sand or aluminum oxide.
