I don"t think that sounds like too bad of a price. Does it have air? If so and the tractors in good shape you should be OK. I seen a black belly go on an auction here in MN for $11,500. Granted the tractor was in the best shape I had ever seen. The farmer had a known reputation of being fanatical about maintenence and care of his stuff. The only thing I would not have wanted were his grease guns cause they were shot. Anyway, I disagree with the value vs. green tractors. A comparable tractor to the 7000 would be a 4230 JD and you"d pay a heck of alot more for that. I like the green ones but have run both red and black belly 7000s. Great tractors and for my money I would pay a little more for the black belly, cause i don"t like tripping on the shift lever every time I get in or out of the cab. For what its worth Brokenwrench
