Old Saying ------- "Old hay is old gold" ! I sold hay last year that was a good 20 yrs old. Sparse hay year here and this hay went to a 125 head buffalo cow herd. The buffalo cows are only fed old hay because they come into "heat" when fed good fresh hay.
