Hi Larry, Roundup works great on aquatic vegatation. I was told by a county extension agent to use it instead of Rodeo. Rodeo is the same stuff as Roundup, but marked for use in water and much more expensive. When using Roundup, it will only kill weeds above water level like cattails etc. Only kill about 1/3 of the weeds at a time as the decaying vegetation will suck the oxygen out of the water and kill your fish. For below water level growth, the Blue Dye is supposed to limit the suns penetration in the water and help to alleviate algea growth. Don't know if it works, never tried it. For the "sea weed" there are pellets you can scatter in your pond to kill it. Don't know the name of it, might try a Google search. Dug
