Dave, I think that Sloroll is right on. You obviously are not getting gas through your main jet into the engine. The primer uses a separate circuit in the carburetor to get a little bit of gas into the intake port, but then the engine relies on gas getting to it through the main jet. You probably need to remove the carburetor bowl and see that a steady flow of gas is coming to it from the gas tank. If it is, then the main jet circuit must be clogged. If it isn't, then the inlet to the carburetor through the float valve must be clogged. In either case, the main jet circuit doesn't seem to be working right. Good luck, Tom in TN
