Neighbor "S" rents about 150 acres to neighbor farmer "O". There is a "traveler", hose pull or what ever you call it in your area, irrigation system with well on the farm. The well has an LP burning Chevy 350 but farmer "O" says it is too expensive to use that well so they want to take the "traveler" to another farm they rent that has electric pump. So neighbor "S" askes me what I thought would be a fair way to charge. I am clueless on this one. Oh, and farmer "O" farmed the land on shares from neighbor "S"'s father and charged him rather high rates for his share of the work so we are thinkin that charging like wise would be appropriate as long as it isn't out of hand. So anyone have any idea?
