1) What's wrong with bankruptcy today? That big corporations now use it as a routine part of doing business. See the airlines -- obviously, if no one's making money, someone's gotta to get out of the business or reduce capacity. Prices go up. Instead they use bankruptcy to dump billions of dollars in obligations mostly to "little guys." 2) Medical Expenses... Yep, could be hidden among 2nd mortgages & such. I am getting ready in a couple months to take out a home-equity line of credit. Actually only need about $15k in cash for improvements I want to do over the next 18 months or so...but the line will be for $50k so it's established in case any stuff hits the fan. But...to what extent do medical expenses become the "last straw" for many in today's society? People who've already maxed out their credit buying JetSkis or maxed out their home equity to send their kids to college at some ridiculous amount... 3) The check on judges... Impeachment is for judicial misconduct, not bad decisions. The check on rulings about constitutionality the majority doesn't like is the amendment process requires very broad support to pass (both houses of congress, then 3/4 of the states). Or as one of the Justices (Kennedy?) just because something is constitutional, doesn't mean it's right. And those you can often remedy legislatively like the current movement to prohibit federal funds in land takings for economic development. An amendment would be stronger, a federal law is easier to pass.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
