ford and dodge dealership here and as far as we have seen it"s just a sales hype. yes they do sell you the unit at employee price but there"s no where near the rebates that usually exist. example..... MSRP is $30,000. you talk them down to $28,000 and then tack on $5,000 in current rebates, total price in the end is $23,000. now the employee deal as we see it...... MSRP is $30,000. employee price is $26,000. no talk down in price and there"s only $3000 in rebates at the moment, the final price, $23,000. that is exactly what we have witnessed at our local GM dealer. just my 2 cents. casey in SD
