At a recent auction I picked up a hand held shaft driven sickle bar weed cutter. Unit was made by Hoffco, Inc. out of Richmond, Ind. Model 2779 "Scythette", serial #1666. Its a heavy two stroke engine with a Tillotson carburetor. Looks to be from early 60's. I'm looking for any information on the Hoffco, Inc. company and/or this machine.
