Bill, the 1050 loader was made for the IH-154 tractor here in Louisville, Ky. It worked will for light duty operations. However, the early 154 tractors had drive shaft/bearing arrangement inm the drive train that did not hold up well to rough extensive use for loader and/or heavy pulling operations. If you plan to do either of these operations, I would advise looking a a larger tractor/loader combination. Good luck George
