If kale is poisonous to goats, could it also be poisonous to deer? Would a planting of kale keep deer out of the garden? Maybe they are smart enough not to eat it. It took my dad 20 years to figure out that black walnut leaves are murder on horses. Finally an Amish guy in Ohio told him.
