I see your point. I did have an occasion to look at, and actually mess around with the Century brand. I was very impressed. They were letting one go (35 H.P.) complete with front loader and brushhog for less than 16k, which included local sales tax. My useage? Mow about 8 acres of heavy thick fields, and use it to clear out a series of trails in the woods, install a septic system, light landscaping and possibly pull a Hayride with it. I wanted something not to big, but not to small either. I heavily consider the weight ratio, so that the unit can dig, while putting it's own weight behind it. I hear you about Kioti, I glanced at them too. I've been lurking a lot of forums, to see what the scoop was on Century. To be honest, I haven't heard a bad thing yet, and the stats are better than the competetors. We used to have a Ford 1500, which as you know, it was a great little 20 HP diesel 4X4 tractor. That thing would mow fields that were 6 foot high without struggle. I appreciate the information. What they say is true, they just don't build them like they used to.
