Like leland said - I'd shy away from the yuppie tractors, most of them are for the guy who wants to THINK he has a tractor. Check with a local dealer to find out if your state has an "AG Use" tax exemption. You may be able to claim it as such and not pay sales tax. Technically, even if you buy it out of state, when it crosses the border, you still are subject to the sales tax. Come tax time next year, they will figure it all out. GO FORTH AND BUY A REAL TRACTOR!
