That was probably a 70-66, or one of the other Hesston Utilities. I hate to say this, but my next door neighbour has a White 700,(same thing) and it has a broken throttle lever, too. Fiat tractors, especially the later ones like the Hesstons, have excellent powertrains-1365/1370 Cockshutts(again, Fiat) are the loader tractor of choice(if you don't have the funds for a fancy new tractor) here in Ontario. They bring more now than they did new. Even though these tractors are 25+ years old, it is not uncommon to see them listed at $16000(Can,about $11000US) They couldn't demand a price like that if they weren't a good, solid tractor. One thing for Hesstons is their excellent paint finish, probably the best in the industry. This is Hesston country, here, we had a high volume dealer, and there are LOTS of 15 to 20 year old Hesstons around here that look more like 2 or 3. Amazing longevity in the appearance. That alone doesn't make a tractor, but at least you won't be ashamed to have it sitting in your yard. The other Fiat built tractors did not have the finish that Hesstons do.
