Culvert Replacement???????

Anyone have any tips on replacing an old culvert in my driveway? Ive never put one in before.I need to make the existing one bigger.I have some free used galviized pipe,or would it be better to use new plastic? Go with a bigger pipe or maybey 2 pipes side by side? Do I fill with dirt or bankrun? I would like to have crusher run on top.Theres about 1-2 ft of standing water in there now will that be a problem or do I have to find a way to run that off.
