Hey Shep, putting a precleaner on your tractor will be the best things you'll ever do for it, especially if it's turboed. It may be a bit expensive in the beginning but in the end you'll come out way ahead because it will extend the fiter change intervals dramatically. I have a customer that has several excavators with rock drill attachments on them. The compressor units utilize a single Donaldson air cleaner for both the engine and the compressor with a resulting flow of nearly 800CFM. Origionally they were equipped with the plastic bowl type precleaner and it did an OK job of getting rid of a part of the rock dust before it entered the filter. Still it wasn't unusual for it to nearly clog the filter in a single days use. I changed the precleaner to a Centri type and it at least tripled the life of the filters. They utilize a 6" precleaner so it was fairely expensive but when you consider the filters are over 100 apiece it didn't take but a little bit for it to pay for itself. I don't know about the other brands like the one your looking at but I can tell you from experience that the Centri brands are solid stainless, they have a lifetime warranty and to top it off they look GOOD. Here is a link to their site so you can check them out.
