I think Jack should be getting 1/2 the hay made, minus around 1/2 the fertilizing costs. Not sure why you are involved in the deal at all, you got a 100 bale commision for doing nothing so far. The deal seems very complex, I see your point, I see the baler's point. Without anything on paper, you are in a difficult spot to get anything, as you don't own the land, don't do any of the work, didn't pay for any of the fert. The other fellow is figuring you got the 100 bales free agreed to, and the rest of the year's crop is his. You were thinking a 100 bales each & every cutting. Just a confusion in terms.
