While I am a Deere fan. No baler will work if it isn't properly setup. The plunger knife has to be sharp and clearance to the ledger set perfect. The bale chamber feeding system is to be timed and stroke set for the type of hay. The knotter has to be clean,sharp,adjusted and timed. Even the tractor driving the baler matters. Is the windrow being fed into the pickup center, either side or is the tractor tire trampling the windrow. Is the windrow tall/narrow or low/wide?
