First , tire size...11" and 12" designate the tire width....that would not hurt to run them .... What you don't want to do is run differnt dia.,rims and tires, like, 38" and 36"...the rear end gears would be compensating for the differance. Now the tranny problem....remove the shift lever....with a long heavy screwdriver put the tranny in neutral...look at the end of the shifter....you can see where it is whore....build it back by welding and shape it back with a grinder.....put it back togeather.... Your done and saved a bunch of money.....Don-ohio
