The set back was required on my Super C. The PTO shaft would be too long. The set back or extension would be about 10 inches long, tapered from front (6 to 8 inches where attached to db) to about 4 inches where it pins to tractor/bushhop hitch! This piece was maybe three quarters inch thick. Phil
