Well it is not your brakes like my old 88 ford 350 with a 460 in it it would boil the brake fluid out of the anti lock control vave that some bone headed engineer placed next to the left exhust pipe. and ya had no breaks till you went to the right rear wheel and bleed the air out. the engine compartment is not letting the heat out and like others have said change the fluid , i am not sure if the master cylinder and slave cylinder will be affected with the dot 4 or not . Try and find some of that heat reflective tape that the racers use and wrap the line and master cylinder and slave cylinder.
