Why not try a JD 1030 (40HP) or a JD 1630 (50 HP).
Both could be had fairly reasonably, and could
handle most anything you'd want to do. Also, a
Ford 2000 or 3000 are pretty descent tractors,
simple and reliable. Hope this helps.
