I don't think it's the best buy actually. But, sometimes we wait and wait to buy the perfect thing and just never get around to doing it. So for $600 plus some likely repairs you have a decision to make. Personally, I think you would be much happier with a trailer that can handle an 8,000 to 10,000LB load. I'm thinking that while 5,000 appears to handle your immediate needs it won't be long before you try things that are too heavy for your trailer. Gee, it's nice giving advice. I'll be happy with whatever decision you make. Let us know what you do.
