Brokenwrenck: I had a 656 diesel for close to 15,000 hours, never had that happen. From the way you describe the problem, it's got to be in the pto drive at front of torque amplifier case. Probably the spline into presure plate, or in the reduction gears in TA case. As I see it, the only way pto and hydraulics would fail at same time.
